The company was founded in 1985 by a consortium of businesspeople in Dutywa Town in what in what was then the former Transkei bantustan.
The company has grown from strength to strength over the years after having started as a holding company of four operating subsidiaries, namely: 1. Gcaleka trading t/a Idutywa Hotel 2. Masonic hotel 3. Idutywa Off sales 4. Seagulls trading company
The company has transformed its business over the years from being a liquor and hospitality trading company to its current form as a 100% property rental company.
The company is now in its 2nd generation of shareholders and board of directors and continues to grow from strength to strength.
